About the Event
This week is designed for children interested in exploring the works of professional artists and using them as inspiration for their own creations. Ms. Solms will guide campers through the process of studying and interpreting the works of various professional artists, such as O’Keeffe, Kusama, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Mondrian - learning how to use their techniques and styles in their own artwork.
Campers will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mediums, such as paint, oil pastels, collage and colored pencils and will learn about the different techniques and styles used by the professional artists they are studying.
Throughout the week, campers will work on several projects, such as recreating famous works and using the techniques and styles of professional artists to create their own original artwork. With a focus on art history, skill-building, and self-expression, this camp is the perfect way to inspire young artists and help them develop their talents.
Camp runs 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday.
