Edible Dirt Slime

We are finally getting a break from the rain after a very wet week in DC, but the fun of playing in the mud doesn't need to stop! You can make mud pies that are safe to taste with our edible dirt slime!

Mom and dad will like that it doesn't track mud into their home and cleans up much easier than traditional slime. The kids will love that they can lick their fingers when they're done playing with this slime!

1/2 cup + 1/4 cup Corn Starch

1/4 cup Chocolate Pudding Mix

1/3 cup Very Warm Water

Optional: Mix-ins - we used gummy worms, crushed Oreos could also be fun!

  1. Whisk together 1/2 cup corn starch and pudding mix.

  2. Stir in warm water.

  3. Add additional corn starch 1 Tablespoon at a time until edible slime is your desired texture.

  4. Add your optional mix-ins and play!

Note: Edible slime will, by nature, be stickier than conventional slime. This is due to the sugar in the formula. We recommend coating your hands in some reserved corn starch to help prevent it from sticking to your hands.
